Loading ...It wasn’t so long time ago since I went to watch a Pakistani Drama in Lahore, Pakistan. It was called “Ek chadar Maili si” and what a drama that was, nothing bad, no rude language, no puns no nothing but YES a very good story line and something which a family could watch together.
A father could watch it with his daughter and a son could sit without gazing his eyes here and there when the kind of girls pop up on the stage these days in the current dramas.
WHAT has happened to our stage dramas? Or in other words what has gone wrong with our “culture” … Ofcourse we can not blame just one or two producers, drama directors or writers. In this situation the ones to blame are the people who go and watch them and praise them for the vulgarity.
Have we gone that low in our mentality that we can not imagine someone talking like that with our families but can scream n go crazy laughing watching almost nude girls on stage, and that too in middle of a DRAMA? Are we watching a drama or a mujra?
If we are watching a mujra, isn’t that supposed to be the most shameful act? How would the people who go watch these kinds of things feel if their own girl, daughter is in the same situation or dragged into the world of so called “entertainment”
Shame on us.. shame on those that go watch something so degrading as this..
